The arrest of the brother of Mohamed Morsi




The security services in Sharqia, in coordination with the national security, on Sunday arrested Said Morsi, 55, the brother of the isolated President Mohammed Morsi. His son was also arrested and is being examined by the security services.
Major General Ridha Tablih, director of security in Sharqia, received notification from Major General Hisham Khattab, Director of Criminal Investigation, to arrest Sa'id Morsi, 55, and his son, and two residents in the village of Al-Adwa, in order to incite them to violence and organize provocative marches against state agencies at the entrance of the village and the public road "Heheya - Zagazig", and are being examined by the security services.
The security forces in Sharqiya, in cooperation with national security officers, arrested Saeed Morsi al-Ayyat, brother of the deposed president Mohammed Morsi, and his son in the early hours of Sunday morning for the second time on charges of inciting violence against the army and police.
On March 15, the security services arrested Morsi's brother and released him the next day, after examining his files, as a precautionary measure not to incite him to demonstrate during the last days of Eid.
The village of Al-Adwa, the birthplace of the isolated president and his family's place of residence, has witnessed demonstrations in recent days to demand the return of the son of their village to the government and release him, carrying pictures of the isolated president and the signs of Rabaa al-Adawiya.
Attorney General Ahmed Dabbas, the attorney general of the South Eastern Prosecution, decided to refer Mohamed Said Mohammed Morsi, the son of the isolated president's brother, a student at the third division of the Zagazig University Law School, and three of his fellow students at the same university to the criminal court in four different cases.

The prosecution also charged them with attempting to kill the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Abdullah Al Shanwani, and a colleague at the Faculty of Law, by beating them and causing serious injuries to them that almost cost their lives. In addition to the charges of joining a terrorist group and violating the law of protest and incitement to violence, And the destruction of university facilities, possession of incendiary materials and fireworks, and set fire to a number of government vehicles, and the university professors, and try to disrupt the study and examinations of the first semester.

After an escape that lasted more than two months, the security services were able to monitor their movements and control them in an ambush in the city of Zagazig, and were referred to the prosecution that took over the investigation.
